Tool Funds

Quelab has many tools available for use to our members and visitors.  Some of them are simple hand-tools, and others are complicated machine-tools.  And all of them cost money to maintain.  We are always raising funds to repair, refurbish, and enhance our tools to make our shop ever more useful to the community.

We will also have fundraisers here to buy new tools, so check back often!

Quelab is a 501(c)3 nonprofit entirely run by volunteers, thanks for helping us continue to be awesome!

Will Mitas identified a used table saw that would be a nice upgrade for the Woodshop. If that saw deal falls through, donations made to this fundraiser may be applied to finding another deal. Excess funds raised will be used to maintain the Quelab Woodshop.

Replacement Wide Format printer

The HP Z6200 from Darren Moody has proven too big of a hassle to get working. We keep experiencing messy ink dumps, and even with replacement print heads, we have been unable to get it to do a self alignment! Ray Finch has found a suitable alternative, an HP Z3100 on Craigslist for $400. This fundraiser has been set for $500 to have some discretionary funds for anything needed on a new-to-us device, even if only for ink or other consumables. If that printer deal falls through, donations made to this fundraiser may be applied to finding another deal. Excess funds raised will be used to maintain the Digital Arts Design lab.
